Die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Agrarökonomie versteht sich als institutionalisiertes Forum für die sozial-, politik- und wirtschaftswissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit Fragen des Agrarsektors. Sie möchte die Kommunikation der Wissenschafterinnen und WissenschafterInnen untereinander verbessern, den Erfahrungs-, Meinungs- und Gedankenaustausch pflegen sowie Impulse zur Intensivierung der Kontakte innerhalb der FachkollegInnenschaft setzen.
