The ÖGA honors outstanding scientific achievements by young researchers at its annual conference. Academic theses from the scientific fields represented by the ÖGA that have a connection to Austria can be submitted. Details on the relevant submission criteria can be found in the current call for proposals 2024 and in the award guidelines.
Applicants for the ÖGA Prize are asked to elaborate on the following points in a letter of motivation:
- Description of the connection to the ÖGA’s research fields.
- Explanation of the Austrian relevance of the work.
- Argumentation of the award-worthy scientific and practice-relevant elements of the work.
- Further aspects are at the discretion of the applicant.
