Call for Papers

The 35th ÖGA Annual Conference provides a platform for discussion and aims to contribute to finding innovative answers. The plenary presentations will explore the general theme of the conference. The research and poster forums, as well as the workshops, will also explore other topics. Researchers from the fields of agricultural economics, agricultural marketing, agricultural sociology, agricultural policy, agricultural geography, agricultural history, agricultural law, and other relevant disciplines are invited to submit their current research papers. The conference offers young researchers, in particular, the opportunity to present their research findings to an international audience from academia and industry in a lecture or poster presentation.

Individuals from administration, politics, education, consulting, and research are invited to offer freely configurable workshops on the general topic or unrelated topics, in which practical or scientifically relevant issues can be comprehensively discussed with an expert audience. Workshop organizers have the opportunity to organize a 90-minute session. All formats that introduce participants to the workshop topic and encourage constructive discussion are welcome.

We invite you to submit by 4th of May 2025 (extended and final deadline) a short paper of no more than two pages or a workshop outline of no more than one page in German or English (format templates: see below). Submissions should be uploaded using the link below. If you have any questions or problems with the link, please contact oega_tagung@boku.ac.at.
